FSG, a nonprofit, mission-driven consulting firm, recently conducted a short research scan of employer practices that lead to improved retention of entry-level employees, particularly opportunity youth. This research sought to identify post-hire employer practices with a strong evidence base and demonstrated results. FSG identified four overarching strategies and sixteen best practices that employers can use to improve retention, which are detailed in the attached report. They are delighted to share this research with the 100K community and welcome your feedback and ideas for additional research.
