The Hire Opportunity Coalition helps build the capacity of American companies to hire, retain and upskill opportunity youth. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, as many as 1 in 4 youth ages 16-24 in the U.S. (upwards of 9 million) are disconnected from school and work. We believe that deep partnerships with high-capacity community based organizations (CBOs) who serve these youth locally are critical to achieving our mission.

To close out a difficult year in a way that positions us for a brighter 2021, we are devoted to forging new relationships between 20 top employers and 20 top CBOs whose intersection creates possibilities for opportunity youth, and to celebrating their connection in a public media campaign.
Here's how it works
You share a priority or challenging hiring market. We’ll identify local CBOs that can help fortify your recruitment pipeline with motivated young talent.
We introduce you to the right organizational staff so you can determine how best to work together.
If mutually beneficial, you enter into a nonbinding partnership to work together on future hiring needs – and count as 1 x 1 progress towards our 20 for 20 goal.
At the close of the campaign, we will spotlight and celebrate all participating organizations through targeted paid advertising and earned media outreach.
